Yesterday we decorated our Christmas tree. I so love these moments.
This morning I tried to make some photos of the tree but he is so huge that i could not get the whole tree on one photo:) So I played with the camera and took some close ups

Thanks to all of you

Thank you all so much for the sweet and heartwarming messages, e-mails and all the prayers you did for Jordi. It really means a lot to us.

He's having a hard time now but he is still so positive. He has to go back to the hospital every day and did not complain at all.
I'm so so proud of him!!!!

Here is a little poem in Dutch:

Jordi

This one is very hard for me.

My son had a accident with some firework and had to stay at the hospital.
They operate him but could not save his hand and amputate the most part of his hand and three fingers.
So very horrible for a 14 year old boy.

Last friday he came home from the hospital and we had a little party for him.
We are so thankful that he is still with us.
I'm so proud of him!!!! We have a long way to go but I know he is going to make it. He is so strong and positive.

The journaling is personal and on the back of the layout.

Published

I am so happy because five of my layouts are published in a Dutch srapbook magazine Creatief met foto's. Here are 3 of them. From the other two I don't have photos.










En ik ga een aantal workshops geven. Foto's van nu in de sfeer van toen.
We maken tijdens deze workshops een aantal layouts en gaan aan de slag met de technieken die ik bij bovenstaande layouts heb gebruikt.

Workshops

Creatief Met Foto's a Dutch scrapbook magazine had asked me to teach some workshops!! And of course I said YES!!!
I'm so happy with this. They loved my vintage layouts.
The details I write in Dutch.

Creatie Met foto's heeft gevraagd of ik workshops wil gaan geven.
Ik heb natuurlijk gelijk JA gezegd!!!
Hieronder de details.

De datums zijn zondag 18 januari 2009 en zaterdag 21 maart 2009.
De dagworkshops worden gegeven bij Creatief Met Foto's te Heesch.
We maken een aantal vintage layouts met foto's van nu die we zelf oud maken door middel van de foto's en het papier te scheuren en te schuren en we maken veel gebruik van inkt en verf. Er wordt o.a. gewerkt met de prachtige Ancestry-lijn van K&Company en lace-cardstock. Ieder die mijn werk / vintage stijl kent weet dat ik altijd werk met heel veel laagjes zodat je diepte in je layouts krijgt.
Kort om het wordt een leuke verassende dag met als resultaat een aantal prachtige ( vintage) layouts!!!

Papa's meisje - Daddy's girl

Made this layout with a photo taken last saterday. We where at the "intocht van Sinterklaas" It's hard to explain but it's a Dutch tradition.
It was cold and we had to wait a long time. So I had all the time to take pictures.
